Liz McClarnon and Me

What do I have in common with Liz McClarnon? Let me think for a second...Liz is an internationally famous pop star, glamorous, beautiful and talented, with a lovely personality, and I'm, erm...also from Liverpool.
And that, frankly, would have been that, until the first edition of Liverpool's new-look "must have" magazine, Liverpool.com, dropped into my in tray this week.

The Beatles' Las Vegas show would wow Liverpool

Almost 40 years since they stopped making music together, the magic of the Beatles is still packing in audiences - at a Las Vegas casino.
I'm just back, still bleary-eyed with jet lag, from a couple of weeks' holiday in the USA, and for me the unquestioned highlight was my visit to see "Love", the Cirque du Soleil show based on the music of the Beatles at the giant Mirage hotel on the Las Vegas Strip.
